Ben Seigel joined McCuaig Desrochers LLP as an associate in October of 2015 after articling with the firm. Ben’s primary areas of practice are business law, wills and estate planning, estate administration, employment law, real estate, and commercial and residential leasing.
Ben received his Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 2014. Throughout law school Ben was heavily involved in Student Legal Services of Edmonton (SLS), assisting the low-income community in Edmonton with the civil justice system. Ben has served as a member of the SLS Board of Directors from 2014 to 2022.
Prior to attending law school Ben received his Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from Carleton University and worked as a manager/buyer for a camping/outdoors store in Ottawa. He grew up spending his weekends working in the family business, as shoe store in London, Ontario.
Outside of the office, Ben is the father of two very active little girls and spends the bulk of his time chasing them around.
